Just had our Housewarming Soiree last Sunday. Thanks to all who made it, especially DJ Petros, awesome mixes mate!! Seriously deck. We had about 30 people there, a bathtub full of booze and a great atmosphere, partying all the way til 2 am. After the party we took off for a 2 hour drive to Byron Bay in New South Wales (south of Queensland) to watch the sun rise. It was sooo beautiful. My mate Gaz and I took a wander to the eastern-most tip of Australia while we were there as well - very exciting! Had some brekkie and went to Springbrook National Park to go on a bushwalk, down to this amazing waterfall! Dave, Nigel and I hopped under, hoping not to get swept away by the icy torrent because there was a huge python resting on the other bank! aiya. Besides that, it's back to uni this week, 5 more teaching weeks before I'm done!! However, the road there will be tough - assignments are piling up. For those of you in Australia, hope you all had a great long ANZAC weekend and all hope everyone else is doing well too! :) Happy (very) belated birthday to Felicia, only because I just found out her birthday yesterday! Also, happy birthday to Fiona!!

Just got this from my friend Fiona (middle). This is from our International Dinner Dance 'Guys and Dolls' last October.

The official a-list soiree invitation - if you have one of these in your email - see you there!! :)

Another update finally! Just started the weeklong mid-semester break. Unfortunately universities out here don't understand the concept of a break/holiday... have assignments coming out of my ears! Just moved into my new place on Saturday, 10 April. It was back breaking - 10 grueling hours of non-stop lifting, loading and unloading whilst a mate, Gazza (the Gazbag) played drill sargeant! Thanks to all who made it out to help us - Val and Brooke, Gaz and Cody (our inhouse queer eye!) Nah, he's not really gay (sorry boys) but one heck of an artist. Might be able to post some of his work on here sometime. Anyway, Craig and I are having a ball decorating - already made multiple trips to Ikea, set up the turntable and speakers, all ready for our big soiree on ANZAC day (25 April) - it'll be the hottest ticket in town! ;) Oh before I forget, a big happy birthday to my dearest Lily in Canada on 9 April - Happy 21 hunny! Anyhow, have to run, no rest for the wicked! Bless ya wherever you are! Much love, David.
